About the role
The Stores & Inventory Officer is responsible for managing receipt, storage, issuance and accurate recording of materials, tools, equipment and spare parts that support field, workshop and general operations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, verify and store incoming materials, equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock registers and supporting documentation.
- Issue materials, tools and spare parts with proper authorisation and documentation.
- Track inventory movements, allocate materials to rigs, projects or operational locations and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Conduct routine stock counts, assist with inventory reconciliation and monitor stock levels for replenishment.
- Coordinate with purchasing, maintenance and operations to ensure inventory availability and keep the stores area clean, organised and safe.
Required profile
- Minimum five CSEC passes including Mathematics and English Language.
- Previous experience in stores management, inventory control or warehousing, preferably in oil & gas, construction or industrial sectors.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and coordinate across departments.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
