Project Manager – Group Project Management Office (18‑month contract)

About the role

The Group Project Management Office is seeking a Project Manager (Management Grade 1) to lead strategic initiatives for an 18‑month period. You will plan, develop, and communicate key projects that align the Group with its corporate objectives while ensuring compliance with established methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s Project Management Methodology and ensure all activities adhere to it.
• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned strategic projects, including documentation, baselines, and performance tracking.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and consultants.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional and international teams, handling requests for information and stakeholder communications.
• Provide coaching and support to project support staff, fostering resource development.
• Plan and execute training for end‑users, support staff, and project team members.
• Maintain the project management configuration system and archive project information for future reference.
• Oversee change management processes, budget inputs, and contract reviews for all initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field and a Project Management Professional qualification, or equivalent executive diploma with relevant experience.
• Three to seven years of progressive project management experience, including at least one to three years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience managing complex, cross‑functional and international projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with virtual teams.
