Associate Director, International Student Recruitment – Caribbean

About the role

The Associate Director, International Student Recruitment – Caribbean will lead SGU’s recruitment strategy across Caribbean markets. Reporting to the Executive Director, this senior role drives enrollment growth, expands market presence, and builds strategic partnerships while managing a dedicated recruitment team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional recruitment strategies and tactical plans to meet enrollment targets within budget.
• Monitor performance, market trends, competitor activity and adjust strategies as needed.
• Lead and coach the International Recruitment Officer, overseeing activity planning, pipeline management and Salesforce CRM usage.
• Build and maintain relationships with agents, schools, universities, ministries and other partners throughout the Caribbean.
• Represent SGU at exhibitions, fairs, webinars, school visits and institutional meetings.
• Guide prospective students and families through the recruitment and admissions journey, ensuring seamless hand‑off to Admissions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Operations, Academic Affairs and other departments to align recruitment initiatives.
• Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment activity, pipeline performance, conversion metrics and market intelligence.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading international student recruitment teams or similar functions.
• Strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans in a multicultural environment.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with education agents, institutions and government bodies.
• Demonstrated capability to manage pipelines and CRM systems effectively.
• Collaborative mindset to work across admissions, marketing and other university departments.
