Construction Manager – Caribbean

About the role

The Construction Manager will oversee day‑to‑day planning, management and technical oversight of physical security and stockpile management programmes, focusing on the rehabilitation and construction of storage areas across the Caribbean.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor construction activities for storage area rehabilitation projects.
• Ensure compliance with MAG global policies and WAM Construction SOPs.
• Coordinate frequent travel across the Caribbean to supervise works and liaise with partners.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in construction activities.
• Proven experience managing projects, tender processes and third‑party contractors.
• Experience working within the Caribbean region; citizenship of a CARICOM Member State or the Dominican Republic is required.
• University degree or postgraduate qualification in construction, civil engineering or equivalent.

Required skills

• Development and evaluation of engineering designs, bills of quantities and specifications.
• Project management and quality assurance of construction work.

• Fixed‑term contract until 31 March 2028, with possible renewal.
