Customer Service Representative (SVS)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited. The role focuses on delivering prompt, courteous, and professional support to clients, agents, and brokers for life and health insurance products. You will act as the first point of contact, handling inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and record client, broker, and agent calls, visits, and written queries, providing accurate solutions.
• Process policy requests such as cheque issuance, beneficiary changes, and address updates in a timely manner.
• Receive, record, and post premium and miscellaneous payments, maintaining accurate financial documentation.
• Handle invoices from doctors and laboratories, ensuring prompt payment for medical claims.
• Maintain Customer Interaction Logs and submit them to the Team Leader within deadlines.
• Monitor and close CRM cases within agreed turnaround times.
• Participate in issue‑resolution huddles and resolve digital portal tickets promptly.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes.
• Organised, able to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Basic numeracy for payment and invoice handling.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Experience using issue‑tracking portals.
• Familiarity with payment processing and record‑keeping procedures.
