Insulation, Fabrication & Sheet Metal Supervisor

About the role

An experienced supervisor is sought to lead and coordinate site activities for insulation, fabrication and sheet metal work. The role covers managing manpower, monitoring work progress and quality, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with approved procedures and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate insulation, fabrication, sheet metal and general support activities.
• Allocate manpower and monitor daily work progress.
• Ensure work follows approved procedures, permits and JSA/JHA requirements.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings and promote safe work practices.
• Monitor quality and productivity of the work crew.
• Coordinate inspections and communicate work requirements to management and client representatives.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, waste disposal and protection of plant equipment.
• Identify additional work requirements and report them for approval before proceeding.

Required profile

• Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in industrial insulation work.
• Previous shutdown, turnaround or outage experience.
• Demonstrated HSE leadership.
• Valid medical fitness certificate and 7-point drug screening.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of insulation and sheet metal activities.
• Ability to read drawings and work instructions.
• Excellent communication and team-management skills.
