International Student Recruitment Officer – Caribbean

About the role

The International Student Recruitment Officer (IRO) for the Caribbean will support SGU’s Doctor of Medicine program by generating qualified applications across the Caribbean region (excluding Grenada). Reporting to the Associate Director of International Student Recruitment, the officer will work closely with agents, schools and other partners to meet recruitment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Caribbean recruitment team in achieving enrollment goals across agency, feeder and direct channels.
• Manage prospective student leads in Salesforce CRM, qualify them and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Provide educational counseling to students and families, both in‑person and online.
• Coordinate and attend recruitment fairs, school visits, exhibitions and SGU information sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships with education agents, feeder institutions and other recruitment partners.
• Maintain accurate student records in Salesforce and collaborate with Admissions and other departments.
• Deliver market updates, performance reports and recruitment analysis to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Background in student recruitment, admissions or international education.
• Experience in sales or business development, preferably with school and agency channels.
• Strong interpersonal and networking abilities to engage diverse audiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for lead management and record keeping.
