Knowledge Management Officer (Evaluation and Data)

About the role

The UNICEF Caribbean Multi-Country Office (MCO) is hiring a Knowledge Management Officer (Evaluation and Data) at Level NO-1 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on a fixed-term appointment. The post sits within the Evidence Generation and Evaluation/Knowledge Management working group, which makes the MCO more data-driven and evidence-based. It reports to the Data & Analytics (Evidence Generation and Evaluation) Specialist (Team Lead) and works closely with the Deputy Representative (Programme Coordinator).

Key responsibilities

• Support the systematic generation, analysis, synthesis, management, dissemination and use of evidence to strengthen organizational learning, evaluation, child-rights analytics and evidence-informed decision-making across the MCO.
• Provide technical support so that knowledge and evidence are captured, analyzed, synthesized, retained and used to improve programme quality, advocacy and accountability.
• Contribute to child-rights evidence through analytical review of administrative data, research findings, evaluations and other evidence sources.
• Support country situation monitoring and impact tracking across the 12 MCO countries.

The team combines MCO-wide analytics with sub-regional support to OECS countries, working in close coordination with the MCO Planning and Monitoring team.
