Lecturers, Instructors and Tutors for Life Skills & Exam Programs

About the role

We are looking for qualified professionals, technical specialists and industry practitioners to join our academic team as Lecturers, Instructors and Tutors. The role involves delivering engaging, practical instruction for our Life Skills and Career Development Programme as well as preparing students for CSEC, CAPE and SAT examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lessons based on approved curricula for both vocational and academic programmes.
• Provide theoretical and hands‑on instruction, demonstrating industry‑standard techniques and safe working practices.
• Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, demonstrations, exercises and practical activities.
• Facilitate hands‑on learning, assess learner knowledge and practical skills, and give constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance, assessment records and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Incorporate current industry practices, technologies and developments into teaching.
• Participate in curriculum reviews, staff meetings and quality‑assurance activities.
• Support learners in developing employability and workplace‑readiness skills.

Required profile

• A recognized qualification in the relevant technical or professional discipline.
• Demonstrable industry experience in the subject area.
• Strong technical knowledge and practical competence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to beginners and use learner‑centred teaching methods.
