Security Manager

About the role

Bristow Caribbean Limited is looking for an experienced Security Manager to lead its aviation security program. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, mitigating risks, and creating a safe environment for personnel, assets, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date assessment of all security risks.
• Identify and evaluate industry developments in aviation security.
• Develop and maintain security plans and manuals in line with regulations.
• Liaise with internal groups, law enforcement, regulators, clients and industry agencies.
• Manage security contractors and staffing.
• Plan and deliver security‑related training.
• Ensure aerodrome passes for employees, vehicles and contractors remain compliant.
• Analyze helicopter flight safety and support investigations and SMS development.
• Perform other duties as required by the Accountable Manager.

Required profile

• Extensive operational experience as a Security Officer.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Aviation Security Management.
• Successful completion of a recognized Aviation Security Management training course acceptable to the regulator.
• Citizenship of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of the AW139 helicopter (asset).
