About the role
EnerMech is looking for a motivated, safety‑focused Workshop Assistant to support Lifting Solutions operations in Trinidad & Tobago. The role involves assisting with workshop activities such as equipment preparation, cleaning, painting, and material handling while maintaining a safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, prepare and shot‑blast mechanical components and equipment.
- Paint selected mechanical parts and equipment as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading of containers, materials and equipment.
- Support workshop technicians with operational activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workshop environment.
- Record completed work using company reporting systems.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work safely in a workshop/industrial environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Preferred previous experience in a workshop, industrial, mechanical or manufacturing setting.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment and hand tools.
Required skills
- Shot blasting of mechanical components.
- Painting of equipment and parts.
- Material handling and loading/unloading.
- Use of hand tools for mechanical work.
