Bilingual Passenger Service Agent

About the role

Swissport is looking for a bilingual Passenger Service Agent to deliver high‑quality customer service in a busy airport environment. You will handle passenger check‑in, boarding, wheelchair assistance and baggage processing while ensuring compliance with airline and airport regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to passengers, including ticketing, boarding pass issuance, and re‑booking during flight disruptions.
• Assist passengers with special needs such as wheelchair users, unaccompanied minors, VIPs and those requiring customs or immigration guidance.
• Process baggage, calculate fees, and manage mishandled‑baggage tracing using airline systems.
• Operate airport equipment, including jetways and reservation/ticketing software, and make public address announcements.
• Handle cash, debit and credit transactions securely and reconcile any discrepancies.

Required profile

• Minimum CXC O’Level passes in Math and English.
• Fluent in Spanish and strong English communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, numerate and able to work in inclement weather.
• Flexible to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

• Reservation/ticketing software operation.
• Jetway and airport equipment handling.
• Cash handling and transaction reconciliation.
