Chief Operator

About the role

The Chief Operator ensures safe, efficient and reliable production services delivery (PSD) to customers, primarily on offshore well‑testing operations. This hands‑on position leads the set‑up, operation and troubleshooting of the full well‑testing spread while continuously seeking improvements in service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead rig‑up and rig‑down of the well‑testing spread, including flowhead, choke manifold, separator and burner.
• Independently operate choke manifolds for pressure and flow control and separators for phase separation, level and pressure management.
• Perform tank gauging, volume tracking and basic flow calculations/adjustments during operations.
• Troubleshoot pressure instability, leaks, instrument issues, sand/erosion and separator upsets.
• Identify improvement opportunities, implement standard work and manage operational risk.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on equipment operation on offshore rigs (deep‑water experience preferred).
• Associate degree in an engineering discipline or a bachelor’s degree in a non‑engineering field.
• CARICOM national with technical qualifications and a valid CSME (or eligibility to obtain it).
• Ability to work independently and under high‑pressure, fast‑paced conditions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
