Hydraulic & Mechanical Technician

About the role

EnerMech is looking for a safety‑focused Technician to join its Lifting Solutions team in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. The role involves inspecting, servicing, repairing and testing hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment while adhering to company and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection, servicing, repair and testing of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and ensure tools and equipment are properly cared for.
• Collaborate with workshop personnel and other departments to support operational needs.
• Conduct lifting equipment inspections and, when qualified, perform MPI and NDT inspections.

Required profile

• Completed apprenticeship, technical certification or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience maintaining, repairing and servicing hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑finding abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s licence.
