Production Supervisor – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team in a fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for meeting production, quality and scrap targets while upholding the highest safety and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach production staff, manage shift resources and attendance.
• Ensure production schedules are met on time and in full.
• Monitor and improve productivity, scrap, quality and equipment downtime.
• Coordinate and optimise production changeovers.
• Prepare and communicate shift and production reports.
• Work closely with Maintenance to troubleshoot and minimise downtime.
• Partner with Quality Control to investigate non‑conformances and support root‑cause analysis.
• Promote HSE, food‑safety and company policies.
• Ensure effective shift handovers and drive continuous operational improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma in Management, Engineering or a related discipline; degree in Operations, Manufacturing, Food Science, Chemistry, Management or Engineering is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in FMCG or food production is a plus.
• Strong leadership, coaching and conflict‑management abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with production/inventory systems or ERP; familiarity with Microsoft AX is an asset.
