Production Planner

About the role

Corporate One Business Management Solutions Limited, a business consultancy offering advisory, training, recruitment and other management services, is hiring a Production Planner. The planner prepares and coordinates production schedules to meet customer demand, optimizes machine and labor use and supports on-time delivery, working closely with Production, Sales, Warehouse, Quality Control and Maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue daily, weekly and monthly production orders based on forecasts, stock levels and delivery dates.
• Sequence production runs to reduce unnecessary machine changeovers and setup losses.
• Coordinate with Warehousing and Purchasing to confirm availability of raw materials such as tissue parent reels and packaging before scheduling.
• Review machine capacity, planned maintenance and labor availability to balance workloads.
• Track planned versus actual production quantities, investigate causes of delays (material shortages, breakdowns) and adjust schedules.
• Provide realistic completion estimates to Sales and Customer Service to manage client expectations.

Required profile

• Experience in production scheduling, supply chain or industrial engineering.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing capacity planning and inventory control.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across departments.
• Commitment to Health, Safety and Quality compliance.
