Business Development Executive – Trinidad

About the role

The Business Development Executive – Trinidad role is a full‑time, on‑site position focused on identifying and developing new enrollment opportunities from Trinidad and related Caribbean markets. The role involves prospect research, lead generation, outreach campaigns, and guiding prospective learners through the admission process.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development and student recruitment strategies across the Caribbean.
  • Identify, onboard and manage education consultants, schools, colleges, career counselors and referral partners.
  • Build relationships with schools and institutions through seminars, career‑guidance sessions, presentations and outreach programs.
  • Generate quality student leads and drive inquiry‑to‑enrollment conversion.
  • Plan and participate in education fairs, exhibitions, school visits, open days and promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive digital lead generation, webinars and localized campaigns.
  • Manage CRM activities, lead pipelines, partner performance and conversion metrics.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, tuition pricing and student preferences.
  • Develop territory plans, manage recruitment budgets and achieve monthly and annual enrollment targets.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, community leaders, alumni and other key stakeholders.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education, International Relations or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • 4–6 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Channel Management, Education or Student Recruitment in the Caribbean region.
  • Experience in international education, university admissions or education consultancy is preferred.
  • Strong network among schools, education consultants, counselors and academic institutions in the Caribbean is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales, revenue or student enrollment targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management abilities.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and CRM skills.
  • Self‑driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable working independently across multiple territories.
  • Strong cultural awareness and adaptability.
