Pharmacy Technician

About the role

M&C Drugstore, a member of Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL), is looking for a Pharmacy Technician. The role supports pharmacists by helping prepare and dispense medications, manage inventory and serve customers. The employer describes itself as a continuously expanding, financially sound multinational conglomerate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system
• Label and package medications for distribution
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit and debit transactions accurately
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide support with professionalism and care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Support the pharmacist with administrative tasks and daily operations

Required profile

• Certification or diploma in Pharmacy Technician studies (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is an asset
• Five CSEC passes at General Level, including Mathematics and English Language
• Attention to detail, organizational skills and strong communication and customer service abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team

Required skills

• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus
