Business Officer

About the role

The Business Officer will act as the primary point of contact for new client inquiries, delivering prompt solutions and supporting the Business Department in daily operations. This role involves onboarding new clients, managing proposals, and ensuring smooth client interactions throughout the service lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new clients.
• Prepare, send, and follow up on service proposals to close sales.
• Schedule and manage the Executive Director’s appointments with active and prospective clients.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date client and proposal database.
• Process client additions, updates, and cancellations in internal systems.
• Keep physical client files (contracts, profiles, proposals) current.
• Support department events, outreach, and client visits.
• Handle service pre‑billing and assist with invoice collection.
• Conduct client satisfaction surveys to evaluate service effectiveness and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (or advanced student/graduate).
• Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to travel within Trinidad, Jamaica, and Barbados.
• Strong customer‑service, sales, and administrative experience.
