Design & Client Liaison Coordinator

About the role

The Design & Client Liaison Coordinator creates professional woodworking, cabinetry, and interior design drawings while acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the design process. This position supports the Operations Manager of Total Custom Woodworking by handling client‑ready drawings and day‑to‑day client engagement, allowing the Operations Manager to focus on manufacturing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Produce woodworking, cabinetry, and interior design drawings and renderings using design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Translate manufacturing specifications and concept sketches into finished, client‑ready drawings.
• Convert existing Excel‑based layouts into proper design‑software formats.
• Revise and refine drawings based on client feedback and manufacturing constraints.
• Maintain a library of design templates, finishes, and material specifications.
• Serve as the primary front‑facing point of contact for clients on all design‑related matters.
• Conduct client meetings to capture requirements, preferences, and budget parameters.
• Present design concepts, manage ongoing communication, and coordinate site visits and measurements.
• Report drawing priorities, workload, and feasibility to the Operations Manager.
• Track project status from brief through design sign‑off and handoff to production.

Required profile

• Ability to produce accurate woodworking and interior design drawings.
• Strong client communication and liaison skills.
• Capability to coordinate between design, client, and manufacturing teams.
