Executive Assistant to the Founder - Sales & Business Operations
Your Equipment Suppliers
Job description
About the role
YES Equipment Suppliers helps manufacturers and growing businesses find, source and implement production equipment, with ongoing technical and operational support. The company is looking for a resourceful, commercially minded person to work directly with its Founder across sales, business operations and executive support. This is a hands-on role for someone who can spot opportunities, solve problems, manage competing priorities and follow through without constant supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Sales and revenue generation: pursue opportunities through historical sales, existing customers, inactive leads and outstanding quotations; qualify needs, source equipment, prepare quotations, negotiate within approved limits and close sales independently
- Manage inquiries through Zoho CRM, SalesIQ, email and other channels, and maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer follow-ups
- Research potential customers, suppliers, tenders, grants and partnership opportunities
- Coordinate customer orders, suppliers, shipments, deliveries and payment follow-ups, and keep CRM records, deadlines and communications accurate
- Resolve routine issues and delays so commitments are fulfilled
- Support the Founder's correspondence, scheduling, meetings, travel and documents, and track commitments and anticipate needs
- Use CRM systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, AI tools and online research to investigate problems and recommend practical improvements
Required profile
- Demonstrated sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation and closing
- Experience in business operations, coordination or executive support
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Zoho, B2B sales, procurement, equipment sourcing or tender preparation is an advantage
- Comfortable working in a changing business environment and making routine decisions within agreed boundaries
Required skills
- Strong CRM and Microsoft Office skills
- Digital and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
The salary starts at TT$6,500 per month (negotiable based on experience) plus sales commission, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates apply by submitting a CV and a short answer to a question about an independent opportunity they identified or a business problem they solved; shortlisted candidates complete a practical assessment.
