Forklift Operator

About the role

The company is looking for a reliable Forklift Operator to move palletized products between the production line and the warehouse. The role supports continuous production flow and ensures safety and equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with the Production Supervisor at the start of each shift to account for operational changes.
• Transport palletized product from the production line to the warehouse.
• Monitor and operate Packaging (Messersi) equipment to keep the packaging line running.
• Check the forklift regularly for safety and report any mechanical defects.
• Remove non‑conforming product from the line and report defects to the Shift Leader.
• Assist the Packaging and Handling Operator in preparing end‑of‑shift reports.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems and support team members during breakdowns.
• Cross‑train on all relevant equipment and promote a clean, healthy, and safe work environment.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• Valid forklift licenses.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Packaging equipment (Messersi) operation.
