Graduate Project Engineer

About the role

EnerMech is looking for a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join its Lifting Solutions team in Trinidad & Tobago. This role offers a recent engineering graduate hands‑on experience supporting onshore and offshore energy projects from enquiry to closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Support safe and efficient delivery of assigned projects, ensuring schedules and deliverables are met.
• Assist with project engineering activities from kick‑off through completion, including cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful execution.
• Participate in onshore and offshore site visits, surveys and lead site activities under senior guidance.
• Support procurement, prepare purchase requisitions and monitor mobilization of materials, equipment and personnel.
• Assist with change management, documentation of scope variations and risk communication.

Required profile

• Strong desire to develop a career in project engineering within the energy industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Internship or industrial placement experience in engineering, construction, energy or industrial services preferred.
• Exposure to project coordination or multidisciplinary engineering environments.

Required skills

• Knowledge of offshore operations is advantageous.
