Information Technology Assistant

About the role

The Information Technology Assistant will join Pepe’s Group Ltd. in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, providing day‑to‑day technical support across the company’s diverse operations. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures hardware, software and network services run smoothly, minimizing downtime for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain computers, servers, printers and other peripheral devices.
• Provide first‑line support for user requests, troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Monitor system performance, perform routine data backups and maintain asset records.
• Support CCTV systems, access‑control hardware and motorized gates/doors.
• Document incidents, resolutions and escalate complex problems to senior IT staff.
• Assist with technology upgrades and collaborate with operational teams to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Practical experience in technical support and end‑user assistance.
• Foundational knowledge of hardware, software and networking concepts.
• Ability to install, configure and maintain printers and related devices.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Effective communication, customer‑focused mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
