Passenger Service Agent – Airport Customer Service

About the role

Swissport is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its airport team as Passenger Service Agents. In this fast‑paced environment you will be the front‑line contact for travellers, ensuring smooth check‑in, boarding and baggage handling while upholding safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous assistance to passengers, including those with special needs such as wheelchair users, unaccompanied minors and VIPs.
• Verify travel documents, issue boarding passes and re‑schedule passengers affected by flight disruptions.
• Process baggage, calculate fees, and manage gate‑side boarding procedures.
• Make public address announcements and guide passengers through customs, immigration and quarantine as required.
• Assist ramp staff with the handling of wheelchairs, strollers and gate‑checked bags.
• Operate airport equipment, including jetways and airline‑specific reservation/ticketing systems.
• Handle cash, debit and credit transactions securely and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Complete required documentation for immigration, health and customs authorities.

• Flexibility to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
