Sales Support Administrator

About the role

The Sales Support Administrator will drive revenue growth by turning enquiries, leads and development opportunities into booked appointments for field sales teams and by providing telephone‑based sales support. The role also ensures a high‑quality experience for existing customers through proactive after‑sales service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct cold‑calling, qualify prospects and schedule appointments for field‑based sales colleagues.
• Manage inbound sales inquiries, demonstrate product benefits and nurture long‑term customer relationships.
• Prepare quotations, contracts and tender/RFQ submissions; coordinate pricing approvals and work with Finance on credit checks and invoicing.
• Maintain and audit CRM data, ensuring accurate pipeline tracking and up‑to‑date sales collateral.
• Coordinate sales team activities, manage schedules and produce timely sales activity reports.
• Track business financials, monitor competitors, conduct market research and generate regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience in sales support administration or a similar role.
• Familiarity with sales contracts, agreements and budget tracking.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software and sales‑support tools.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
