Senior Network Engineer

About the role

The Senior Network Engineer will lead the design, analysis, planning and optimisation of our fixed‑network infrastructure across multiple markets. You will evaluate performance, develop architecture, and ensure capacity aligns with business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyse, plan and modify network components supporting customer communication.
• Evaluate network performance and develop measurement methodologies.
• Analyse short‑term and long‑term capacity requirements for switching, routing, transmission and signalling networks.
• Conduct feasibility, cost and economic studies, including population‑growth forecasts.
• Develop alternative routing scenarios and recommend optimisation strategies.
• Ensure engineering teams meet KPIs and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor team members.
• Track project expenditures, manage budgets and assist with design documentation (BOMs, RFPs, RFQs).
• Collaborate with Outside Plant, Inside Plant, Commercial and subsidiary operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Computer Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or telecommunications.
• Strong understanding of Passive Optical Networking (PON), HFC/Coaxial and Ethernet solutions.
• Experience with fiber splicing, twisted‑pair and coaxial cabling.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and work streams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Valid passport/visa and willingness to travel internationally.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, BICSI, FOA or equivalent.
