Supply Chain Planner (Industrial Group)

About the role

FT Farfan Limited is looking for a Supply Chain Planner for its Industrial Group. The role covers purchasing forecasts, purchase requisitions and purchase orders, and keeps inventory cover and turnover targets in line with the company's supply chain, purchasing, inventory and supplier policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse demand plans and inventory reports and propose monthly stock orders to meet stock cover, inventory turnover and OOS KPIs
• Prepare a 12-month purchasing forecast based on the demand plan
• Follow up on purchase requisitions, convert them to purchase orders and track open orders with Logistics
• Complete purchases for all SKUs in line with purchasing, inventory and supplier policies, and flag potential low-stock situations
• Monitor fast-moving and critical items and submit replenishment requisitions and orders
• Manage purchasing solutions, expedite orders and keep the Logistics department informed, updating divisional managers promptly
• Check invoices against confirmed orders and recommend optimal order quantities, incoterms and timing
• Take part in SKU rationalization and data cleansing, and set minimum re-order and maximum stocking levels
• Synchronise and validate group purchasing data with other modules, and help improve customer program effectiveness
• Adhere to HSE policies and perform other related duties

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or CIPS Level 6
• At least 2 years' experience in FMCG
• At least 2 years' experience in purchasing and inventory control
• Experience in warehouse management, demand planning, inventory management or logistics is an asset

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite and MRP software
• Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills, both oral and written
