Well Testing Supervisor

About the role

The Well Testing Supervisor ensures safe, efficient and reliable pressure‑sustaining delivery (PSD) to customers while leading well‑test operations from planning through rig‑up, execution and rig‑down.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and implement service‑delivery improvements and manage risk during testing.
• Own full well‑test execution, including reading test programs, P&IDs and operating envelopes.
• Perform and validate flow‑rate calculations, choke sizing, tank measurements, shrinkage factors and volume corrections.
• Control choke‑manifold adjustments, separator pressure/level stabilization and overall flow assurance.
• Lead crews, interface with clients and ensure compliance with well‑control barriers and ESD procedures.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline or Bachelor’s in a non‑engineering discipline.
• CARICOM national with at least 8 years of well‑testing experience on offshore rigs (deep‑water preferred).
• Valid CSME certification or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• Proven ability to work independently, under pressure and to develop improved work processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Required skills

• Experience with flow meters: Coriolis, Venturi, Daniel orifice plates, gas metering.
• Liquid metering and data QA/QC.
• Strong well‑control awareness (barriers, pressure containment, ESD).
• Choke‑manifold operation and live adjustments.
• Separator pressure/level control and stabilization.
• Flow‑assurance during testing.
