Business Development Consultant

About the role

The Business Development Consultant will drive Hikvision security products and solutions into project specifications across multiple vertical markets in Trinidad and Tobago. Working remotely, you will identify new opportunities, build stakeholder relationships, and manage the full project development cycle to achieve revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business and identify opportunities in verticals such as government, public safety, transportation, energy, banking, retail, hospitality and education.
• Build and maintain relationships with end‑users, consultants, engineering firms, system integrators and other key stakeholders.
• Drive Hikvision products into tender requirements and manage project registration, follow‑up, partner coordination and conversion.
• Collaborate with distributors, system integrators and internal technical teams to create competitive solutions.
• Support tenders, RFQs and RFPs, coordinating commercial and technical resources.
• Maintain accurate project and customer data in the CRM and reporting systems.
• Travel regularly within the territory to develop customers and projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Network Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Commercial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience in the electronic security industry.
• Experience with retail, banking, hotel, education, warehouse or logistics sectors.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Spanish.
