Business Development Manager – Insurance Software (Remote, Caribbean)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of our client’s insurance software solutions across the Caribbean region. This fully remote position focuses on expanding the customer base, strengthening relationships with insurers and MGAs, and delivering profitable growth for a mature, cloud‑enabled InsurTech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary sales contact for the Caribbean territory, achieving financial targets and revenue goals.
• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities while retaining existing accounts.
• Lead the bid process, prepare proposals, and negotiate technical and commercial terms with senior client representatives.
• Design and implement sales strategies in collaboration with senior management.
• Coordinate with internal sales, product, and client‑service teams to ensure seamless delivery and support.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform product positioning.

Required profile

• Proven ability to understand client requirements, analyse data, and propose effective solutions.
• Experience designing sales strategies and managing pipelines in a B2B technology environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at executive level.
• Track record of leading successful bids and closing medium‑scale contracts.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting while collaborating across global teams.
