Assistant Site Manager

About the role

The Assistant Site Manager (ASM) supports the Site Manager in overseeing daily base operations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and V2X standards. The role requires on‑site presence during standard duty hours to manage a wide range of facility services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with project management, execution, and personnel supervision.
• Oversee work order management for HVAC‑R, water systems, electrical distribution, fire alarm/suppression, power production, vehicle maintenance, sweeper services, and structures maintenance.
• Prepare reports, enforce quality, safety, and performance standards, and track metrics.
• Inspect and verify work quality in accordance with the PWS.
• Maintain a comprehensive safety program compliant with V2X, OSHA, and USAF requirements.
• Develop and maintain a documented training program for staff.
• Manage government and contractor property, including facilities, equipment, and tools.
• Assist with subcontract management and ensure accurate time reporting.
• Act as Site Manager in their absence and perform other assigned duties.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience managing base operations support.
• Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, and water/fuel systems.
• Supervisory experience, including report preparation and customer interaction.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid U.S. passport, driver’s license, and U.S. SECRET security clearance.
• Ability to pass psychological, medical, dental, drug, and background checks.
