Coded Welder

About the role

Arawak and Company Limited is seeking a qualified Coded Welder to join its Maintenance Department. The successful candidate will perform welding tasks in accordance with coded welding standards, supporting industrial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute welding work following coded welding specifications and fabrication drawings.
• Operate various welding processes including SMAW (arc), MIG, TIG and gas welding.
• Interpret welding symbols and ensure quality of welds in line with industry standards.

Required profile

• Certificate in Welding from MIC Institute of Technology, YTEPP, NESC, TTNVQ/CVQ Level II or III, or equivalent.
• Valid Coded Welding Certification.
• Minimum three CSEC General Proficiency passes, including English Language and Mathematics.
• At least two years of industrial welding experience (preferred).
• Experience with stainless steel fabrication, food manufacturing or poultry processing is an asset.
