About the role
Arawak and Company Limited is seeking a motivated Machine Operator to join its Maintenance Department, working in a poultry processing environment.
Required profile
- Minimum of three CSEC passes including English and Mathematics.
- Technical/vocational training from recognized institutions is an asset.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to Occupational Safety and Health practices.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Willingness to work in cold rooms, wet processing areas and comply with Food Safety, Quality Assurance, OSH, Biosecurity and GMP requirements.
Required skills
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience operating industrial or food processing machinery.
