Line Technician

About the role

The Line Technician works full‑time on‑site at our San Juan‑Laventille plant, operating and monitoring production line equipment to ensure consistent output while meeting safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, adjust and fine‑tune production line machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Identify, diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical issues.
• Document maintenance activities and report equipment concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities for production equipment.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude; manufacturing or industrial background preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, read technical instructions and keep accurate records.
• Willingness to work shifts, stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant vocational certificate or secondary‑level technical education; a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering is an asset.
