Offshore Welding Inspector – Trinidad

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Offshore Welding Inspector to join a high‑profile project in Trinidad and Tobago. The successful candidate will ensure that all welding activities performed offshore meet the required quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of welding activities and completed welds to verify compliance with project specifications and industry codes.
• Confirm that welding operations follow approved procedures and that welder qualifications are up to date.
• Review welding procedures, qualifications, and supporting quality documentation.
• Identify and report any non‑conformances or workmanship concerns promptly.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive inspection reports.
• Coordinate with project teams, quality assurance personnel, and site staff.
• Adhere to all offshore health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Valid AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification or an accepted equivalent.
• Proven welding inspection experience in offshore, marine, oil & gas, or heavy‑industrial environments.
• Valid BOSIET or TBOSIET certification.
• Valid offshore medical certification and passport for mobilization.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection practices, procedures, and applicable industry standards.
• Availability to work offshore in Trinidad and Tobago.
