Omnibus Driver

About the role

Swissport is looking for an Omnibus Driver to safely transport personnel, documents and cargo between airport facilities and company offices. The role involves operating authorized ramp and road vehicles in a fast‑paced aviation environment while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ramp passenger vehicles and company‑issued cars to move employees, items, documents and packages between the cargo facility, airport terminals and business offices.
• Drive in compliance with lawful speed limits on public roads and airport tarmacs, ensuring vehicles are authorized for use.
• Secure vehicles and equipment, keep interiors clean, and report any accidents, damages or malfunctions to the dispatch agent.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for coach/bus driving and maintain accurate documentation of trips.

Required profile

• CXC O’Level passes including Mathematics and English.
• Valid Class 6 driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather and on flexible shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays).
• Ability to read, understand and interpret safety rules, operating instructions and company policies.
