Operations Representative

About the role

The Operations Representative (Boarding Agent) supports Inchcape’s 24/7 logistics service to principals, ensuring safe and efficient vessel turnarounds within the port jurisdiction. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will act as a key liaison between vessels, vendors, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistics services to principals for smooth vessel turnaround.
• Manage vessel requirements and coordinate procurement of vendor services.
• Undertake vessel boarding activities as required.
• Support Inchcape’s on‑call service commitments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all operations.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of port operations and agency services.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills; detail‑oriented and results‑driven.
• Excellent customer service, verbal and listening skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
