Project Coordinator – Energy Projects

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support safe and efficient execution of energy projects in Trinidad & Tobago, handling schedules, documentation, resources, contractors and stakeholder interfaces while ensuring compliance with HSSE, Quality and Control of Work requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution from planning through completion, including schedules, work plans and progress reporting.
• Manage engineering, operations, maintenance, contractor and project teams, and support risk assessments, permits, job plans and work packs.
• Monitor contractor activities against approved schedules and participate in safety briefings, toolbox meetings and execution planning sessions.
• Maintain project records, documentation and reporting systems, and support QA/QC, commissioning and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Project Management or Business Administration (or diploma with extensive experience).
• Minimum 5–10 years of project execution experience, including at least 3–7 years in the oil & gas industry.
• Experience supervising small to medium‑sized field teams and managing contractors.
• Knowledge of stage‑gate project development, risk identification, budgeting and cost control.
