Risk Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and analytical Risk Analyst to support the identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of organizational risks. The role works closely with the Manager of Risk Management to provide data‑driven insights that enhance operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and overall risk management effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Implement risk measurement metrics covering market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
• Assist in preparing risk reports for internal and external meetings, including Board reporting.
• Identify and assess risks that could affect business objectives and maintain an inventory of risks, mitigation plans, and controls.
• Prepare monthly yield curves and quarterly credit and corporate risk premiums.
• Support security valuation exercises by preparing input files and reviewing derived bond prices.
• Prepare annual credit ratings, reviews, and outlooks on holdings to meet IFRS requirements.
• Stay informed of regional and international developments to transfer best practices where applicable.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in a similar role, with a minimum of two years in the investment‑management industry.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
