Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership for a paints and coatings manufacturing and supply company in Trinidad and Tobago, acting as a business partner and overseeing all financial resources.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, annual budgeting, forecasting and quarterly/annual reporting to the Board.
• Manage cash flow, treasury operations, working capital and ensure robust financial controls and compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, tax, risk management, internal audit coordination and corporate governance.
• Support manufacturing profitability through cost management, product costing, margin analysis and capital expenditure evaluation.
• Develop and coach the finance team, set performance standards and KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven business transformation experience with strong commercial and P&L management capability.
• Manufacturing or supply‑chain finance leadership experience, including working capital and cost management expertise.
• Ability to lead and develop high‑performing finance teams and manage senior stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering growth in challenging markets.
