Sales Representative (Digital Home Services)

About the role

ibex is looking for a Sales Agent to act as a customer service representative over the phone, talking to prospective customers and turning each contact into a sale. The role covers digital home services such as wireless, cable, satellite and home phone. Only a limited number of positions are available.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls from prospective customers about digital home services and guide them through the sales process to convert them into customers.
• Follow a consultative sales approach: ask questions, listen to the caller's interests and match them to the right product offering.
• Create customer accounts accurately using various customised software platforms.
• Assist customers in a professional and efficient way.
• Meet sales targets and quality assurance requirements consistently.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 CXC passes or equivalent qualification, or a combination of experience and related skills and the ability to pass internal assessments.
• 6 months of sales experience; call centre sales experience is an asset.
• Previous success selling wireless, satellite and cable services over the phone is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
