Senior Assistant Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. In this position you will support the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings and budgeting activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Review regulatory and financial reports and head‑office submissions.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting and board reporting.
• Prepare and review tax computations, schedules and related regulatory filings.
• Retrieve, analyse and reconcile system‑generated reports.
• Provide support across various accounting functions as needed.
• Prepare and review financial statements, notes and bank reconciliations.
• Offer coverage for other accounting duties during peak periods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA Level 2‑3.
• 3‑5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
