Senior Investment Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Investment Advisor to provide expert financial guidance to corporate clients and high‑net‑worth individuals (HNWI). You will develop tailored investment strategies using the GAMISL suite of mutual funds and identify opportunities to upsell private‑wealth and merchant‑bank solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and manage corporate and HNWI accounts with investable balances of ≥TT$500K.
• Deliver professional investment advice based on deep knowledge of the firm’s products and services.
• Monitor redemptions, report performance, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Build referral networks and develop centers of influence (COIs).
• Conduct portfolio reviews and follow up on client inquiries.
• Identify and refer upsell opportunities to Private Wealth, Merchant Banking, and other relevant units.
• Stay current on new product offerings, policies, competitor activity, and market trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• First‑degree in Finance or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Certified Financial Planner (CEP) qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, with at least 3 years of proven sales success serving corporate and HNWI clients.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment products, and services.
• Professional, articulate, self‑motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Integrity, trustworthiness, excellent time‑management, listening, communication, and presentation skills.
