Senior Manager – Actuarial (Insurance)

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is looking for a strategic Senior Manager – Actuarial to lead actuarial analysis, provide data‑driven insights and support key business decisions. You will ensure regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and drive innovation across valuation, pricing and product development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly insurance liability results, capital adequacy calculations, statutory reporting and budget projections.
• Validate and maintain valuation models, monitor model issues and produce actuarial reports for shareholders and policyholders.
• Lead pricing activities, including model updates, product profitability analysis, commission studies and large‑scale quotations.
• Develop frameworks for product pricing, profitability metrics, KPIs and reporting templates.
• Coordinate testing of illustration and administration system updates for new and amended products.
• Drive continuous improvement in reserving, valuation and pricing processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level actuarial experience in life, health or pension insurance.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, with responsibility for budgeting and resource planning.
• Ability to translate complex actuarial concepts into actionable business insights.
• Forward‑thinking mindset with a passion for delivering impactful solutions.
