Senior Team Leader – IFRS Reconciliations

About the role

Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited is looking for an experienced Senior Team Leader to own the IFRS reconciliation process across multiple lines of business and legal entities. You will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with IFRS 17, and timely delivery of reliable reporting while leading a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise clearing and closure of reconciliation items, including legacy balances, to achieve targeted resolution rates.
• Maintain and update the Reconciliation Matrix, tracking ownership, timelines, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Ensure IFRS 17 compliance, review audit findings, and implement corrective action plans by year‑end deadlines.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, track reconciliation metrics, and document challenges for cross‑functional resolution.
• Provide day‑to‑day supervision, coaching, and coordination of the reconciliation team.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial reconciliation and IFRS reporting, preferably IFRS 17.
• Proven leadership ability to manage and develop a team.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on audit preparedness and compliance.
