Talent Development Officer

About the role

The Talent Development Officer will build capability across the sales force and other populations within the Sagicor Group Caribbean. This role partners with sales leadership and business units to identify skill gaps and deliver learning solutions that improve performance, product knowledge, service quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess learner performance needs, design blended solutions and monitor impact on sales objectives.
• Develop and deliver classroom and virtual training, including onboarding, product, systems and refresher sessions.
• Administer the learning management system: upload content, manage enrolments, track completions and generate reports.
• Plan and coordinate training logistics, handle vendor quotations, purchase orders and invoice processing.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys and assessments, track ROI and report performance gaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional certification.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a sales trainer or training officer (or five years in a sales environment with relevant certification).
• Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, needs assessment and evaluation methodology.
• Experience in financial services is an asset.
