HR Coordinator

About the role

The HR Coordinator provides hands‑on local Human Resources support and drives the execution of people initiatives across Trinidad and Tobago. Working closely with the regional HR Business Partner, the role ensures practical HR solutions, policy application and a strong employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive local execution of HR programs, projects and organizational changes, translating regional people plans into effective actions.
• Coordinate recruitment follow‑up, onboarding, training, probation‑period management, trainee administration and employee exit processes.
• Provide responsive support on HR policies, employee and labor relations, and ensure compliance with local labour legislation.
• Manage Total Rewards activities, benefits, job evaluations, salary proposals, personnel budgets, headcount and HR dashboards.
• Coordinate local engagement, culture, DE&I and change‑management initiatives and support Health and SHE topics.

Required profile

• Around 8 years of experience in HR generalist, HR operations or similar roles with proven ownership of local execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Management Studies, Social Sciences or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of employee and labor relations, local labour legislation, talent processes, compensation practices and HR metrics.
• Experience in change management, critical analysis, job evaluation, salary proposal preparation and stakeholder management.
• Previous experience in a multinational or complex regional environment is preferred.

• Advanced Excel and data‑analytics skills.
• Power BI for reporting and dashboard creation.
