Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all HR and recruiting functions for our Trinidad & Tobago operation, supporting roughly 150 employees across multiple business units. The role combines strategic HR leadership with hands‑on execution in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with site and business unit leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that drive workforce productivity and employee engagement.
• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for hourly, professional, technical and leadership positions, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Serve as the primary resource for employee relations, conducting investigations and advising on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans and conflict resolution.
• Lead performance management processes and support managers in setting expectations and accountability.
• Support training, leadership development, succession planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
• Drive change‑management initiatives and implementation of new processes, technologies and business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with Trinidad & Tobago labour legislation, occupational health and safety requirements and other statutory regulations.
• Maintain HR policies, employee records and documentation in line with legal and company standards.
• Liaise with third‑party payroll provider to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Oversee HRIS, applicant tracking systems, personnel records and HR reporting, analysing workforce and recruiting metrics.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR best practices and Trinidad & Tobago employment legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Analytical and organizational skills with a results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS systems
• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to generate and interpret HR reporting tools
