Production HR Supervisor (Factory Floor)

About the role

The Production HR Supervisor supports people, culture, discipline and teamwork within a manufacturing plant. Working on the factory floor for the majority of the day, this role partners closely with the HR department to ensure consistent policy application, safety, and employee development.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to company policies using cameras, logs and attendance systems, documenting violations and escalating as needed.
• Evaluate and implement plant security and safety plans in collaboration with HSE and Security teams, conducting routine inspections and supporting incident investigations.
• Work with supervisors to assess performance, identify training needs, support onboarding, cross‑training and succession planning.
• Maintain positive employee relations, address concerns early, and assist HR in disciplinary meetings, investigations and conflict resolution.
• Communicate new and existing policies clearly to production staff and ensure consistent enforcement across shifts.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of HR policies, industrial relations practices and disciplinary procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain objective, calm and fair in challenging situations.
• Strong observational and documentation abilities.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments and shift‑based operations; prior HR/IR experience in a factory setting required.
